THE DUHKS (6:45 pm Saturday & 2:45 pm Friday) French-Canadian born siblings The Duhks are a spot-on fusion of traditional bluegrass, folk rock, Afro-Cuban jazz, gospel, Celtic and soul featuring new frontwoman and bilingual, budding soul queen, Sarah Dugas. Environmental issues are a passion for the band, inspiring them to launch The Duhks Sustainability Project. The band’s goal is to tour on as sustainable a basis as possible, fueling their vehicle with Biodiesel, supporting local organic farmers wherever they go, wearing sustainable eco-conscious clothing, using earth-friendly shampoos, soaps and cosmetics and offsetting remaining CO2 emissions with carbon credits.http://www.myspace.com/theduhks

WASSABI COLLECTIVE (9:00 pm Friday and 1:30 pm Sunday) is critically acclaimed as one of Canada's best live independent bands. Head-bopping hooks and tasty pockets of funk can swerve unexpectedly, easily veering off into exploratory jams, fueled by the captivating vocals of Melissa Meretsky, the band’s soul-soothing siren, whose assertive vocals drip with a molasses-smooth warmth. Their long list of charitable performances include the Music4Change Oxfam Benefit, and they have recently been awarded two BCIMAs for Album of the Year & Best Female Performer 2008 (they were nominated in 5 categories) as well as four Toronto Exclusive Magazine Provincial Awards for Best World Song (“One Day”), World Album (“Stories Not Forgotten”), World Group, and Website, October 2007.  On Sunday, they will be joined onstage by a drum circle featuring Mbira DzeMuninga. http://www.myspace.com/wassabicollective

LYNX & JANOVER (2:45 pm Saturday) LYNX and Jamie Janover create a diversified harmonic blend of all original hip-hop and down-tempo electronica grooves with folk style song writing, guitar playing, beat boxing, rhyming, amplified mini-kit percussion and the sounds of the hammered dulcimer, achieving the elusive perfect balance between the acoustic and the electronic, using today’s most advanced technologies mixed with ancient live instrumentation to create a unified sound reflective of the polarized nature of our times.

COYOTE GRACE (4:30 pm Friday) is the result of combining guitarist Joe Stevens from Northern California with upright bassist Ingrid Elizabeth, a sassy femme originally hailing from the hills of Southeastern Ohio.  Together, they capture the eyes and the hearts of live audiences nationwide with their bluesy folkgrass sound, sweet harmonies, poignant songwriting, and mid-song dance moves. Coyote Grace has shared the stage with such folk icons as Indigo Girls, Melissa Ferrick, Cris Williamson, and Lowen & Navarro. If you want a lesson in organic chemistry, take notes as you watch the sparks fly between this acoustic downhome duo, who now reside right here in Santa Rosa. http://www.myspace.com/coyotegrace

JENNIFER FAUST BAND (6:00 pm Friday) Jennifer began writing songs in Portland, Oregon after returning from seven months in Seoul, South Korea in 1999.  This self-taught musician is known for her diary-entry songwriting style which influences her musical style, from psychedelic shoegazer rock to doom swing, depending upon ever-changing moods and instrumentation. Jennifer came to Sonoma county for an extended vacation at the beginning of 2009.  After a series of incredibly fortunate events and bright sunny days, she decided to stay.  She is accompanied by some of the regions finest musicians:  Michael Lindner on bass, mandolin, and accordian (Aquavelvets, Mendocino Allstars), Alan Stassforth (slide guitars), and Jack Springett (drums).

BOURGEOIS GYPSIES (8:00 pm Friday) mixes slow-burning, porchsetting music with poignant punk lullabies that make you tap your feet, clutch your heart and shake your head all at the same time. The band formed when Arnold Mitchem, a high desert troubadour, collided with Kaisa MacDonald, the inn-keeping, firespinning spawn of a gypsy in the café of a clothing-optional hot springs resort. Thrown together for an impromptu open mic session, the two musicians realized that their styles clicked and their abilities complemented each other. Two CD’s, countless gigs and a few additional band members later the Gypsies are gearing up for prime time with their latest release, “Faulty Fairytales”.  http://www.myspace.com/bourgeoisgypsies

WOMENROCK FEATURING BERNADETTE, VALERIE ORTH AND PAMELA PARKER (5:30 pm Sunday) features the soulful psychedelic Pamela Parker, Bernadette (described as “Bonnie Raitt meets Courtney Love”), and Valerie Orth, a prolific and fearlessly original songwriter whose voice is described by the San Francisco Bay Guardian as "soulful, genuine, and edgy”. WomenROCK was formed in 2006 in the Haight-Ashbury district as an activist collective with a vision to support female musicians whose music brings awareness to charitable causes while entertaining and educating listeners. WomenROCK is supported by the National Organization for Women (NOW), the largest, most comprehensive feminist advocacy group in the United States. http://www.myspace.com/womenrockmusic,http://www.myspace.com/vlomusic

LOCURA (5:00 pm Saturday) mixes grooves & melodies from Flamenco, Reggae, Cuban Son, & North American folk creating an original blend of irresistible, high energy music that bridges cultures, transcends borders, uplifts the spirit, and provides food for the soul--a sound track to feeling alive! http://www.myspace.com/locuramusica

NICKI BLUHM & THE GRAMBLERS (3:30 pm Sunday) taps into the country folk and blues side of rock music that came up in the West Coast in the 1960s and 70s. Their 2008 album was also named one of Jambase's "13 Best Debuts of 2008" alongside breakouts by Fleet Foxes and Everest, and her scorned-lover anthem "Burnt" appeared on a compilation album with Brett Dennen and Rodrigo y Gabriela. This native San Francisco band has made a name for itself by showing a command of different styles from 70's psychedelic rock and pop to soulful blues and country two-step, tied together with Bluhm's earthy, honest voice for a sound that is both classic and current. Bluhm and her husband (and fellow Grambler), Tim Bluhm, of the seminal California rock band the Mother Hips, also became familiar to Grateful Dead fans after sets with fellow SF musician/sometime-Grambler Jackie Greene during Phil Lesh and Friends' recent shows at The Fillmore. Their next album is planned for release in Fall 2009. In addition to playing as many outdoor festivals as possible, they always seek to do one thing: leave folks grinning.  http://www.myspace.com/nickibluhm

NATASHA JAMES (8:45 pm Saturday) sold her first “roots music” song at around age 20 when she was living in London, before she moved to LA and then ended up in NYC, where she started to take things seriously. Then she moved to Sonoma county where she raised her two children, a single parent just like her mother had been, and devoted herself to that era of her life until a record deal literally dropped in her lap, which resulted in Bad Judgments with the hit single, The Restless Kind. Her latest album is Tequila Time. If you want to know more, she prefers to let the music do her talking!http://www.myspace.com/natashajamesmusic

MBIRA DZEMUNINGA (1:15 pm Sunday) Mbira DzeMuninga is a four-piece ensemble that plays traditional mbira music from the Shona people of Zimbabwe. Known as vana gwenyambira (master mbira players) in their country to recognize their role in traditional spiritual ceremonies of the Shona people, their performances have rekindled an interest in traditional art forms among young urban Zimbabweans more accustomed to Western forms of music. The four members are vana gwenyambira Jacob Mafuleni, Micah Munhemo, Tonderai Ndava and Peacheson Ngoshi. The members of Mbira dze Muninga call each other by their totems as a sign of respect for the spirits that endow each one of them with their musicianship.

SARA WASSERMAN (3:30 pm Friday) will be performing with her father, renown bassist Rob Wasserman (Bob Weir) & very special guests. Her  debut album 'Solid Ground' features Aaron Neville, Lou Reed, Vernon Reid, Christian McBride, is a brilliant piece of work that highlights her vocal and song writing skills. She is currently touring with Bob Weir & Ratdog.

DREAMING BEAR (8:00 pm Saturday) Baraka Kanaan is an internationally renowned spoken word artist, author, and peace advocate whose work is frequently described as “modern day Rumi or Hafiz”. His playful love spells promise to bring back a sense of mischief, passionate fulfillment, and romantic appreciation for life. Mark Victor Hansen, co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, calls DreamingBear “the best conscious poet on the planet. His love spells magically open the heart!" http://www.DreamingBear.net

JOWEH BELLY DANCE (7:00 pm Friday) are nouveau belly dance divas from Sonoma County. These highly skilled performers are trained in various dance styles and tomfoolery and have been causing quite a stir in the belly dance community with their RAW (Random American World) dance. Is it belly dance? Is it Modern dance? Hip Hop? Vaudeville? The blending of who-knows-what with impeccable talent and technique creates an unforgettable performance, every time.

DEBRA GIUSTI & THE GODDESS DANCERS (2:30 pm Sunday) Don’t miss Harmony Festival founder Debra Giusti and 10 dancers including special guests Luisah Teish and Elizabeth Moriarty in this popular annual showcase celebrating the goddasses in everywoman.

THE SHAMANIC CHEERLEADERS (midnight Saturday) are a Bay Area-based performance group dedicated to bringing spirit while delivering multi-dimensional entertainment wherever they go. Their intention is to deliver a powerful message of all-inclusive consciousness through playful levity. They raise awareness about environmental/social issues and current events through a variety of skills including dance, acrobatics, spoken word, song, cheer and music.
