EmoYoga™ AT
Kalani Oceanside Retreat Center Pahoa, Hawaii September 18th-24th, 2011 EmoYoga is the space to BE in your body, experience freedom to heal and thrive through Movement, Feeling, Touch, Breath, Yoga, Play, Ecstatic Dance, Music, Art, Sacred Sites, Warm Water, Volcanoes, Dolphins, Exquisite Food, Massage, and Deep, Peaceful Stillness. *******“The Presence of Love…The Presents of Acceptance” Energy Medicine is being used to heal where nothing else works.
In
the dynamic and supportive environment at Kalani on the Big Island of
Hawaii, we
will discover that clearing trauma, acute and chronic pain, fears,
phobias, addictions,
and limiting beliefs caused by abuse of all kinds is possible when we
give
ourselves the presents of love, acceptance and forgiveness. While
staying in
presence with our consciousness and gently tapping and/or holding
acupuncture points, we
clear from the meridians, the energy body and the nervous system
cellular imprinted “story” that created patterns and dis-ease that no
longer serve us.
Through feeling our full spectrum of emotions, breathing deeply
and ‘tapping into’ acceptance of ‘what
is’ in every moment, we gain access to our emotional intelligence, bringing
clarity, confidence and rapid self-healing in profoundly simple, powerful and lasting
ways. As we re-member and move into a place of accepting our Selves, we tap into a wealth of energy and begin to trust our in-tuition by using our emotional guidance system, and life becomes much more fun and filled with ease.
With yoga (beginners welcome), Emotional Freedom Techniques and other needle-free
meridian healing modalities, Compassionate Breathwork, movement, stretching, meditations and sound, lasting
healing is experienced. Even birth trauma and dis-ease that started before we
could speak can be cleared through feeling our feelings, the keys to
healing. Participants learn self-applied power tools for healing. *******Aloha Blessings Ohana (family), I am feeling very great-full to be offering this event at Kalani, a fun-Om-in-all space on the paradise called Hawaii. 1. I just wanted to thank you for a great class on EFT while I was in Kauai. It was one of the highlights of my trip. I really appreciate your clear attention and presence. You held the space beautifully and skillfully. Thank you. Love, Zazou (Colorado) 2. Dear Community, As a facilitator of Transformative Energy work (in my case, Conscious Breathwork) I've been interested for a long time in this Emotional Freedom Technique as a possible aid in the part of my work involving DEEP emotional & physical release, and especially in the subsequent, extremely important mental and emotional re-programming that goes on. A few days ago I was Graced to receive a private EFT session from Michaeloha. In one hour I released many emotional beliefs/charges held in my case from my teen-age years & parental interactions. AT THE END OF THE SESSION ACTUAL PHYSICAL PHENOMENA PRESENT IN MY BODY FOR OVER 40 YEARS WERE GONE & STILL GONE AS OF THIS WRITING!! These physical symptoms -from a teen near-death accident- disappeared even though Michaeloha & I never actually even "tapped" specifically about the accident!! Since the session I feel that I've permanently entered a higher & freer state of being. I leave you to draw your own conclusions!!! No-one around here currently does this work; this man is Blessed with a natural Gift for it. I strongly suggest checking him out this Friday, especially if you yearn for inner change and seek more Tools of Self-EmPowerment!! See you there! Robin Houghton (Oregon) 3. Life is GREAT!! as I'm sure yours is also. TINA made the final breakthrough & is now a complete 4 dimensional person; absolutely incredible & kind of insanely intense transition. But she's all good now!!! Good Service, Deep Heart, Sweet Love to you! LIFE IS LARGE!!!!! ROBIN (ps. neck still perfect of course 1 month later) 4. Taking the Masterful Breathing workshop with Michael allowed me to overcome a very deeply rooted and basic fear of being completely present with my body's deepest breath. Doing EFT on such a basic thing as breath was of tremendous value to me. I left feeling exceptionally relaxed open and alive with the realization that everyone could use this. I highly recommend this workshop! -Sonya Sophia Illig O.M. EFT- 5. Breath is the life... Michael Elam gives life to that statement. The workshop was enlightening and fun. I left with a deep feeling of being grounded in my body. -Brock Bradford- 6. My deepest heartfelt thanks to you for such a wonderful workshop! I felt great afterwards and I am breathing! -Lori Ann Scott- 7. What an honor to study and thrive with you! thanks for this workshop and presence. You taught it so well. I am humbled and very endeared. Yours, - Rad Kieding- 8. I feel freer, looser, more relaxed. And I think you helped me see/remember/feel many things I had not felt in years. I think the benefits will accrue more and more as time passes. But I may need a few more treatments! Thank you!! XOXO -Sandy Sandra Purnell, JD, PhD (ret.)- 9. |

Wisdom and Freedom Peace Tour Veterans Project FAQ Q: What are your goals and objectives?
Our goal is to share EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques see www.emofree.com) with veterans and their families, and with counselors and therapists who may not have been exposed to EFT. We are sharing this self-healing modality because it has an outstanding success rate for recovery from PTSD, physical pain, depression, anxiety and insomnia. We desire to hearten, heal and uplift our veterans with our "boots on the ground" service. We imagine a world where warriors create peace and sustainability with their much earned courage, strength and their commitment to serve and protect. We are addressing the need of veterans and their families to recover from PTSD, depression, insomnia and pain on every level. We are offering to work in conjunction with health-care professionals and the veterans to substantially decrease suicide rates and give these courageous young people back their lives again. (Currently the suicide rate for veterans is about 18-20 suicides per day.) Q: Who and what make up The Wisdom and Freedom Peace Tour / Veterans Project? We are a collective of visionaries consisting of EFT practitioners, authors, performance artists, musicians, DJs, dancers, green educators and green-hearted volunteers. Besides people, our vehicles carry information, a performance dome, a movie screen, sound equipment, costumes, a solar-powered stage and a portable dance floor. To see our names and faces check out the On Board! page click hereQ: What will you be doing? Our caravan starts its journey through the counties of California, reaching out to veterans and their families offering healing, love and inner-tainment. We are modeling what can now be done to heal our minds and bodies as we demonstrate elegant new ways to green up our lives, clear our minds and restore our environment. We are creating a more sustainable and healthy way of life for the present and future generations of America. We offer FREE individual and group EFT sessions (see www.emofree.com) from qualified practitioners to veterans and their families, teaching them a simple and highly effective self healing technique to clear the memories and painful physical and psychological effects of war. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nRY3UtTHvo
click HERE watch Vets be *CURED* of PTSD using EFT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEOq0EoHR4Y TESTIMONIALS: Seaman Wilbur Hurley, a 20-year-old corpsman, returned to Camp Pendleton in October plagued with horrible visions. In mid-September, he had witnessed a young Marine kill himself while serving in Iraq. It was just weeks before Hurley returned to his base at Camp Pendleton. "Once I started doing the (EFT)tapping, an overwhelming calm came over me,"Hurley said. "I had no cares or worries in the world. In fact I left Sue's (office) singing. It was pretty much the greatest day of my life." Seaman Wilbur Hurley EFT has been, for me, the single most effective technique I have used in my 45 years of practice as a psychiatrist. I have had success with panic, social anxiety and many other disorders. Curtis Steele, MD, Canada I have found EFT to be so useful that it has become the centerpiece of my practice. I have used it successfully on a long list of emotional issues, including paranoid schizophrenia. Interestingly, when the emotional issues subside, physical ailments often enjoy simultaneous relief. I have seen this with the symptoms of fibromyalgia and MS as well as for swallowing problems, back pains, hemorrhoids, acidity, breathing problems, stomach pain, vaginitis, headaches, joint pains and stomach problems. Sonia Novinsky, Ph.D., Brazil In my 50 years as a practicing psychiatrist, EFT has proven to be one of the most rapid and effective techniques I've ever used. Henry Altenberg, MD, USA We are reaching out to embrace, love and support one another during this time of extreme change. We create musical experiences and workshops to educate, inner-tain, inspire and connect. We include demonstrations of sustainable living practices, green building technologies and the use alternative energy sources. We encourage participation of peaceful inner environments with meditation, music, movement and yoga classes. Q: What does the Tour look like on the road?
Q: Can you list your main strategies in fulfilling this vision? * Free private EFT healing sessions and EFT Circles for veterans and their families. (see www.emofree.com) * Workshops and classes on the healing arts, yoga, dance, meditation, music, playshops for kids and information about green jobs.
* The CandleOpera, a musical, theatrical variety show performed on a solar-powered stage with live music, dance, and transformational theater. The CandleOpera is the centerpiece production at each stop, and is co-created with local talent and national celebrities: musicians, artists, authors, and poets who share these values. By connecting with the Wisdom and Freedom Peace Tour's Veterans Project, celebrities can easily become a part of a legacy of creative green activism, underscoring messages of social change, hope, environmentalism, peace, and sustainable living. * A running tour blog on the internet. * On line publicity and video coverage utilizing MySpace,Youtube and FaceBook. * A full length documentary. * Substantial press coverage due to the increasing focus on the desperate need for supporting our veterans. * Acts of kindness and artful beauty to draw people to our events, for example, musical, costumed trash pick-ups, interfaith meditations by the water, and visits to VA hospitals. We specialize in spontaneous, ingenious, creative acts of service everywhere we go, attracting curiosity and attention. * Hosting cutting-edge authors, filmmakers, and inventors of green technologies, giving them visibility and personal, public and moral support. Q: What do you expect to occur as a result of this tour? By nurturing vets and connecting them to a healthy future, we ensure that these and the next generations are taught compassion, self-healing and long-term environmental sustainability in action. We expect this to be the most rewarding work of our lives!
We have already been given $21,000 which has been used to purchase and partially convert a beautiful MCI 9 recycled greyhound tour bus specifically for this project. We have been gifted with a donation of an inexpensive beautiful place to live in California to use as a home base for the WFPT. See our I Support page for ways you can contribute and volunteer. We expect this aspect of the tour to last 12 months, with room to grow to a 36 month project. We plan to serve our veterans in most of California's 56 counties with over twenty-one 5-day stops, producing a 5-day event in each location. We will use this money to buy a large tent, finish the bus preparations, buy a portable dance floor and stage lights. This money funds coordinators and staff to work with our volunteers to launch this project by late August 2008. We intend to reach as many California veterans during the next 12 months as we possibly can. We desire for the whole of humanity to THRIVE now. We see that we are all interconnected and that the means shapes the end result for all of us. We become what we do. We are becoming a healthy, loving and peaceful people by being healthy, loving and peaceful as individuals. We end the trauma of war by artfully creating PEACE now! |
